Common Questions

How do I make an appointment? Please click "BookNow" above or call/text (540) 382-1820. Sorry, no walk-ins accepted due to privacy issues, however please text me to inquire about available last-minute appointments.

How can I reschedule? If you must change your appointment, I ask that you notify me at least 12 hours in advance. Appointments canceled with less than 12 hours of notice may be subject to a $25 missed-appointment fee. However, please let me know immediately if you awaken with a fever, vomiting, sneezing, coughing or upset stomach and we will reschedule your session with no penalty.

Are there special instructions for first-time clients?  Yes, when booking online for the first time, you will be required to prepay a one-time $25 appointment deposit, which will be deducted from the payment for your first session.

How sanitary are your linens and equipment?  Your safety comes first with me. I was trained to sanitize to dental-office standards and this awareness carries over to my massage practice. For your protection, the treatment table and pads are shielded by a water-proof cover, topped by fresh linens prior to EACH client. The face cradle is thoroughly cleaned prior to covering with two protective barriers: a flannel fitted AND a disposable cover. Pillows and heated rolls are protected by covers, washed after EACH use. All linens and towels are laundered in unscented detergent and dried in a hot dryer with no softeners. The 100% cotton sheets are white to facilitate bleaching for hygiene. The restroom and treatment area are cleaned daily and freshened prior to each client. My protocol has been upgraded due to COVID - please click the Infection Control Precautions tab!

How careful are you with my records? As an allied healthcare professional, I am required to keep your healthcare information confidential. Along with the confirmation of your first appointment, you will be invited to complete an secure online health history which is maintained by MassageBook, the "HIPAA compliant" software that I use. If you would prefer not to record this information electronically, please complete and submit only the information that you are comfortable with and we will complete a basic health history on paper when you arrive for your session.

How much time will my appointment take? Please plan to arrive just before your appointment start time, and allow at least 15 minutes after the end time of your session for closing & dressing.

How should I pay? I accept all major credit cards via Square, including FSA and HSA. If you would like to pay cash, please bring the exact amount since I do not keep change on hand. You are also invited to pay securely online through my website. Whatever you prefer, I recommend that we handle payment prior to your treatment in order to prolong your "happy massage buzz" following the session!

Is it true that you don't accept tips? Yes. As a healthcare professional, it doesn't feel appropriate. However, If you'd like to, I would be grateful for a *Google review* which will enable others to find my services.
