"I was really impressed with the extra steps she is taking due to the current pandemic
and am so glad she is back working and I am able to enjoy massages again!" - Alia
To minimize risk of illness transmission, I've been vaccinated against Covid & Influenza (effective 10/2025).
For your comfort and safety, I wear an N95 mask while in session, and a brand-new mask will be offered for (optional) your use. For enhanced hygiene, nitrile gloves are worn while I treat feet and are disposed of following each use. Also, I wear medical "scrubs" which are only worn while serving as a Licensed Massage Therapist and won't wear street-clothes during your session.
Additional protective measures*: Two HEPA/UV light air filtration systems run continuously during all sessions, and a window may be opened in the treatment room for fresh air, as desired, and my treatment room is thoroughly cleaned and ventilated between EACH client. The treatment table and pads are shielded by a water-proof cover, topped by fresh linens prior to EACH client. The face cradle is thoroughly cleaned prior to covering with a fresh flannel fitted cover. Pillows and heated rolls are protected by covers, washed after EACH use. Fresh lotion is dispensed for each client and any remainder is disposed of. All tools and stones are re-sanitized between clients. All linens and towels are laundered in unscented detergent and dried in a hot dryer with no softeners. The 100% cotton sheets are white to facilitate bleaching for hygiene. The restroom and treatment area are cleaned daily and freshened prior to each client.
*As advised by the CDC and Virginia Department of Health, as well as additional recommendations from the American Massage Therapy Association.
